Time to smile
The SL-SA match was a thriller today. When 4 wickets fell in a row, suddenly SL was in with a chance. It was hard not to think about our team or our performance. Watched the final overs of that match wistfully. I gotta agree with Oracle. SA was done in by stupid rules in the '92 edition. I can't forget the sight of Pringle pinching his jaw and having a sad face then. I hope they go on to with this world cup.
While the games go on, its time for us to do what we do best - laugh at ourselves. I try not to paste FWDs or chain mails here but this one is too funny. Check this out.

idhu konjam over-a terila.. btw it was bayangara hilarious to see our players take the cargo exit at the domestic airport and get out like tirudans including Sachin tendulkar. And deepz, i have to tell you this, its time Sachin retires and enjoys his vadapav @ Shivaji park.
If we had played Kaif and Raina, they would not have allowed Bangla Desh to score beyond our 191 nor Srilanka in that pitch would have been permitted to score 250 runs. Saving 50/60 runs, holding a few marvellous catches and throwing directly at the wickets are better than scoring 50/60 runs in over 100 balls. These two are of Jonty Rhodes class and hence too good for an Indian team.
Remember ajit's dialogue "Athipattinu oru gramam irundhuchu...." in the film 'Citizen' where a village vanishes from the map of Tamil Nadu becoz of corrupt bureaucrats. If our Indian cricket team continues to play the same way as they do now may be in future we will tell our grandchildren "Indian cricket teamnu oru team irundhuchu..... " :-)
