My Blog

Somebody told me (after reading my previous post) that my blog "ini mella chaagum". That kind of upset me, I don't want it too. The frequency of my posts indicates how much I am able to do things that I really like. Recently, I had an argument with a friend about people doing the things they like. She said its a luxury. Its not that I have a strong opinion on the topic but I love playing devil's advocate. So I said "If you really (make that capital) want to do something, you'll always find time for it". And that friend easily agreed. Now I think thats not true. I don't blog regularly and I want to slouch on the couch doing nothing but I never have time for that. Does that mean one is bad in time management or is doing the things you like really a luxury? Please give me your opinion.

Luxury it is. Not limited by lack of time alone. Lack of co-operation, lack of energy, lack of discipline, lack of will can thwart any continuous passtimes. In this case it seems lack of time for you. For me it might be lack of readership. :-)

It is about "the other side is green" or it is, we always want what we do not currently have. I used to want to do nothing when I was busy. now I miss being busy. I miss complaining about being busy. I miss complaining about lack of time. I miss complaining "I want to do nothing, but I can't do because it is a luxury for some"...

Its not a luxury. Its just that we take it for granted with the presumption that we always have time for that later. Your mind reasons to ratify. Do you get to spend as much time with your kid, these days? NO!!! with your hubby ? NO!!! Your mind says, its ok. They r always there for you. And you reconcile. Its the same in this case too.

Its a direct reflection of your current interest. If it really means much you will do it. For the the analogy will be books. I have at least five books on my bookshelf waiting to be read. To anyone asking me what my interests are, books figure on the top of the list but I hardly make the time to read these days. Instead I end up blogging, lurking on blogs. So, I think its what catches your fancy at any given time :)

Dont bother about frequency as long as each post is as interesting as your "regular" post. That's difference between ARR and Deva.

If you are really obsessed with it, u'll really do it no matter whatever it is. Everyone in this world has got 24 hrs and if u say that u have no time, it means that u are lying.

I believe it too, that one can find time to do what one really wants, but wants when is the question, is it in the long term, or in the short term -- like for that evening.. for sometimes lethargy does set in... and does take a long time to shake it out of one's system. At least in my case, I have been haunted by lethargy, every now and then :)

I am known as JayBee in the Web.
I entered the Tamil Webdom in early 1997. I was an active participant of Tamil.Net which is a Tamil language E-group. Indology and Sangkancil in English.
Exactly after one year I wanted to quit the Tamil group. But there was an outcry.
In 1998, I started Agathiyar Yahoo Group.
During all these years I have encountered very many problems - slanders, mud-slinging, character assasinations, spam attacks, virus attacks, etc. There was also rivalry.
There were people who used to say, "JayBee wont last. Agathiyar will wind up".
Well......
We have already crossed the ninth year.
Now 44000... yes..... 44 thousand postings.
I myself have written more than 10000 postings.
Agathiyar is specifically for topics on Tamil/Indian History, Tamil/Indian culture, traditions, heritage, arts, science, and Ancient Tamil Literature.
They are all well-archived in a separate web-site called TreasureHouseOfAgathiyar.
My own articles have been compiled and put up in four different web-sites - visvacomplex.com, maduraiweb.com, skandaweb.com, and kadaaramweb.

You are still young.
You have an undying enthusiasm.
Keep it kindled.

There is an old song by Perry Como.

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away

So.....
Keep it up dear young lady!

was watching problem about my new year's resolutions doesn't stick more than a month(max) for millions of people-- and same would answer you as well.

its because difference between our concise and subconscious importants/priorities.

when you say you want to 'to slouch on the couch doing nothing and don't find time' and you find time to blog..!! that's because your subconscious mind prioritize your actions.

i know its sounds heavy..;~) may be but that's what happening..!
