The laughable Left

In India left is associated with something bad or inauspicious. When my cousin started writing using her left hand, my aunt tried her level best to change it as it was deemed as bad luck. That was my first encounter with "left is bad". That incident and the subsequent inference kind of got tattooed my mind.
Now when I read these reports, I understand why communist parties are called the Left. They are not only bad but are also laughable and dangerous.

first time here... hopped from thennavan's blog... "left is bad" LOL... but left-ies have that elegance be it in writing, playing, etc.,..

but when people use left hand, its people around who crib and not the lefty person... but in the case of LEFT parties, its the party that cribs :-)...

Thennavan, join the gang.:-)
Bachelor, its funny. I haven't watched any of the movies you've listed (except Godfather 1 but I read the book before I saw the movie. So liked that better). I guess I am not a major movie buff. I am on my way to BlockBuster to rent these movies.
Naikutti, you are right. Lefthand players have an elegance eg. Martina, Sourav.;-) Do you know Sachin Tendulkar writes with his left hand?
Hi Me, I call it coincidence. Well, Great minds think alike or fools seldom differ. We not only have similar titles for blogs, we had/have similar template and we are the guy in the comparison syndrome.;-)
Vishnu, thanks for stopping by.
